Halotech Jewellery Pty Ltd
If something isn't working, we want to hear about it. Tell us and we will help.
If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. In Australia that is 000, in the United Kingdom 999, and in New Zealand 111.
Halotech is not an emergency service and we do not monitor alerts. Our alerts go to the emergency contacts you choose, not to us.
We aim to reply within two business days. We are based in Australia, so allow for the time difference if you are writing from elsewhere.
Free to call from anywhere in New Zealand. From outside New Zealand, dial +64 800 422 165.
Leave a message and we will come back to you within two business days. It is not a staffed line — email reaches us faster.
We cannot reset your PIN, and we will never ask you for it. That is deliberate. Your PIN is what keeps other people out of your app. If we reset PINs whenever someone asked, anyone pretending to be you could ask us to reset yours and get in.
If you have forgotten it, use Forgot PIN on the app's PIN screen. If that does not work, write to us and we will help you through it, but the reset itself always happens on your device rather than at our end.
Adding and removing contacts is something only you can do, from the emergency contacts screen in the app. We do not add, change or remove them on your behalf, and we will not do so if asked — your list is yours alone.
If the screen itself is not working, tell us what is happening and we will help.
Someone you know may have added your number as their emergency contact. That message tells you who added you and why.
To stop receiving messages from us, text STOP to the number shown in the message. We will not message that number again, for anyone.
If you no longer have the message, or would rather deal with us directly, email support@halotechjewellery.com with the mobile number you want removed and we will take care of it.
If the message came from someone's own mobile number rather than from Halotech, they are using an Android phone, which sends the alert from their handset rather than through us. The quickest thing is to reply to them or give them a call. If you would rather we handled it, write to us and we will remove your details from our records and let them know you have opted out.
You can delete your account from within the app, or request deletion without installing it. See our account deletion page for what is removed and how long it takes.
When you write to us, it speeds things up enormously if you can tell us:
Please never send us your PIN. Nobody at Halotech needs it, and we will never ask.
